Malayalam romantic superhit Premalu is all set to get a sequel. This exciting announcement was made during the success meet of the film by its makers. Earlier this year, Premalu released to a thunderous welcome and emerged as one of the biggest ever Malayalam releases with nearly Rs 100 crore in its kitty.

The poster of the film was shared on the Facebook page of one of the producers of the film, popular actor Fahadh Faasil. In a tweet, he said, As if we needed to prove it anymore, The Biggest RomCom blockbuster ever in Malayalam Cinema will be back in 2025!! Let’s Premalu 2.” The actor posted an animated, announcement poster with the news.

Release Date: Februray 9, 2024 Directed By: Girish AD The movie is written by Best and Kiran Josey. The movie was so well acted by Naslen K Gafoor and the main cast Mamitha Baiju. Sangeeth Prathap, Akhila Bhargavan and Shyam Mohan play the supporting roles. Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran bankrolled the movie under Bhavana Studios, Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Working Class Hero. The Movie Music composes Vishnu Vijay Cinematography Ajmal Sabu Grammar Akash Joseph Varghese Editor The film was produced by Reliance Entertainment and was made on a shoestring budget of Rs 3 crore and managed to collect over Rs 136 crore at the box office.
