Mirzapur lovers, it’s time to set a date. Mirzapur Season 3 This has been the question on everyone’s mind, and finally, the makers have revealed that the third season of the show will premiere on July 5! The announcement also comes with a new teaser, which hints at Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya returning to Mirzapur to take command of the crime-maker. On the other hand, Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit seems to be waiting for his return to fight and to take over the throne.
The teaser opens with Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s voiceover announcing that ‘sher’ Kaleen Bhaiya would confront ‘sawa sher’ Guddu Pandit in the battle for the throne. The teaser also shows the face-off between the lead actors, as well as a showdown between Shweta Tripathi’s Golu and Isha Talwar’s Madhuri Yadav. It also peels off into the family dynamics and the intricate power play saga, chiseling out other characters like Vijay Varma, Rasika Dugal, Anjum Sharma, and Priyanshu Painyuli among the rest.
In March, the makers launched Mirzapur Season 3 within the presence of Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and Shweta Tripathi. Fan favourite character that was played by the actor Divyendu had earlier confirmed that he would not be a part of Mirzapur Season 3. Humans of Bombay, he had said, “guys season 3 mein mera kuch nahi hai I m not in s3 #WorkInProgress. I know it fucking hurts…I miss those conspiracy theories, they were real. Not as I shall but — I declare — I am not part of Mirzapur Season 3.
A lot of fans commented: ‘Mirzapur will remain incomplete without Munna bhaiya’ along with a broken heart emoji. Several others also demanded, “Bring Munna bhaiya back.”
The show has been helmed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Media.
