Well, we will have to wait and watch what Prabhas has in store for us for the next two years as he has lined up some interesting films. South’s biggest superstar brought 2023 to us early with an action-packed Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire. The movie is directed by Prashanth Neel and it also stars Sriya Reddy, Prithviraj Sukumaran,, Shruti Haasan among others. The sequel named ‘Salaar: Part 2—Shouryanga Parvam (aka Salaar 2’ was announced by the filmmakers last year itself.Past few weeks, several stories are doing the rounds about Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s movie. Few days back there were also reports that the team will commence shooting for the film later this year. Don’t worry, our beloved ‘darling’ Prabhas fans…

And, even as we kept hearing reports that the movie had been delayed; a fresh report now suggests that Prashanth Neel’s film with Prabhas is also shelved. And this anecdote began breeding stories that Salaar 2 will be shelved and it has been put on the backburner at the moment. Meanwhile, those close to the set are dismissing rumours like this one, saying that the film remains on-course.

On the work front, Prabhas has a massive release up next month— Kalki 2898 AD. Reply: science fiction mythological fantasy drama by Nag Ashwin The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in lead roles. It’s actually based on only one Hindu Mythology tale of tenth avatar “lord Vishnu”, “Kalki”. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 27, 2024.

The Raja Saab is Prabhas’ immediate release after Kalki. The film also written and directed by Maruthi Dasari. In the meantime, the actor also has in his kitty Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action thriller ‘Spirit’. Even Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa also has a point for the Baahubali star.
